About Us

Hi, I'm Michael Okoye, a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and part-time superhero based in Chicago. Gym Hero was born from one idea: do what makes you happy, while doing the most good. I already have a pretty successful career as a personal trainer, so there was no reason from me to start Gym Hero except as a creative outlet while also affording me the opportunity to help others when I could.
