Captain Crunch Protein Smoothie

Smoothies are a really popular item among lots of people, especially parents because it's a simple thing to grab and go. You can go nuts and put in a bunch of ingredients and - if you add enough sugar - it can all taste delicious. Also, you can prep them in a Nutribullet or Magic Bullet or whatever and just blend it later at work (if they'll let you).

Unfortunately, the most popular type of smoothies are fruit smoothies which are often high in sugar and low in protein, which makes them less than conducive towards my goal of not having a "dad bod". So here's my one of my go-to protein smoothie recipes that's super delicious and will help make sure you're on track for that beach bod (even though I never go to the beach...)

Captain Crunch Protein Smoothie

prep time: 5-10 minutes          "cook" time: 30 seconds         total time: 5-10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Scoops Protein Powder (Vanilla or Strawberry)
  • 1 Tbs Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbs Vanilla Yogurt
  • 8 oz Almond Milk
  • 4-6 Medium Strawberries
  • Handful (14-20) Blueberries
  • Ice (depends on the consistency you like)
  • Blender

Directions:

  • ...blend it all...?
  • No, seriously...that's it.
